What an epic conclusion to this series! While I’ve loved every minute of this ride, this final installment had me holding my breath, feeling rage-y, crying tears of joy, etc. ALL THE FEELS! I’m not one for spoilers so I’ll just say that Halira is even more of a badass in this book and I adore her! Also… Ryven 🖤 Enough said.
Whoever said that this book was like Cinderella meets The Cruel Prince- They absolutely nailed it! I swear I couldn’t read this book fast enough… and yet I wanted it to last forever. So now I’m going to go back and read 𝘈 𝘋𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘞𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘌𝘭𝘧 𝘒𝘪𝘯𝘨 🙌
Katria has an evil stepmother and 2 stepsisters. After her father passed away, her stepmother became even more abusive toward her. Eventually she marries her off to a faceless man, just to collect a generous sum of money. Katria hasn’t seen her husband and yet follows his ludicrous rules about not leaving her room at night and never leaving the property until she can’t take it anymore and follows him out into the woods one night. What she sees in the woods sets her on a journey she’ll never forget.
Oh my gosh! I knew I’d love this book, but I wasn’t planning on loving it this much! I can’t find the right words… but I’m working on it. I’m so glad this will be a duology because I will never be tired of this world 💕
Such amazing world building! And the characters are wonderful. Even the not so wonderful characters *cough* Citali *cough*, add elements to the story that make this book unputdownable. Noor serves the Sun goddess, Sol. Her father, the Aten, hates her with a passion and does everything he can to get rid of her. He attempts to set up a marriage between Noor and his enemy, the Lumin who serves Lumos, the moon. He tells her she must steal his crown so that he can have the ultimate power. But Noor knows she will never give him that crown. She will keep it to gain freedom from him. How many hearts is she willing to break to get away from her father? Is she willing to break her own heart?
First of all, big huge thank you to @jessaca_with_an_a & @bookofmatchesmedia for bringing this fantastic series into my life 🙌 I love this world and these characters and can’t wait for more!
I thought I loved Shadow Crusade… but I love this book even more! It picks up right where Shadow Crusade left off and man it just jumps right into the action. I seriously cannot wait for Immortal Return! I’m team #nospoilers so I’m not going to give anything away, but I highly recommend this series!
First of all, big thank you to @turnthepagetours for letting me be a part of this amazing Covet Book Tour! I love Tracy’s books and this has been amazing! I may have reached my breaking point. As if trying to graduate from a school for supernaturals isn’t stressful enough, my relationship status has gone from complicated to a straight-up dumpster fire.
Oh, and the Bloodletter has decided to drop a bomb of epic proportions on us all…
Then again, when has anything at Katmere Academy not been intense?
And the hits just keep coming. Jaxon’s turned colder than an Alaskan winter. The Circle is splintered over my upcoming coronation. As if things couldn’t get worse, now there’s an arrest warrant for Hudson’s and my supposed crimes―which apparently means a lifetime prison sentence with a deadly unbreakable curse.
Choices will have to be made…and I fear not everyone will survive.
The Crave series is best enjoyed in order.
Book #1 Crave
Book #2 Crush
Book #3 Covet
Book #4 Court

Just when I thought I loved Crush the most, Covet happened! My heart was smashed to smithereens a few times and yet put back together better than it was before this book.
I’m definitely a #nospoilers type of person so all I’m going to say is that this book extracts every bit of emotion inside of a person. I was frustrated. I was mad. I chuckled. I smirked. I cried. I almost never cry. I even joke that I don’t have tear ducts, but this book leeched them right out of me. And I loved almost every minute of it!
I will reread it again as soon as I’m able, just to feel it all over again.
Huge thank you to Entangled Teen & MBC Books for gifting me a copy of this amazing book! And for the amazing preorder swag!
Dragons, dragons, and more dragons! I love it! Dragons are one of my favorite mythical creatures and reading about them always makes me happy.
All but one of the original Dragonbloods was killed during the revolution. And he was simply forgotten. Now he’s in the Guardian program and hoping no one recognizes him. Lee and his best friend, Annie, are both vying to be Firstrider. Lee wants it because it’s in his blood. Annie wants it because her family was killed by the last Firstrider. But which one will be better suited for the war that’s coming for them?
Politics, dragons and slowwwwww burn tension throughout the entire book. Can’t wait to read the next book!
I feel like I’ve been on a hell of a journey with these characters and while I’m sad that it’s over, I’m so happy with the way it ended. For the good of Emberfall, for the good of all.
I feel like there could easily be more books in this world and I sure hope this isn’t the end of my time in Emberfall and Syhl Shallow.
Syhl Shallow has declared war on Emberfall. They have 60 days to yield or there will be a war. Grey wants peace but Rhen refuses to yield. Lillith is back to torturing Emberfall and no one knows what to do to make things right again. It takes quite the odd alliance to bring peace; A lost prince, a new queen, a young soldier, a scraver, a healer, a sarcastic ass, a cripple and a beast. There will be peace, but will it be for all?
I still love Grey and his gentle stoicism, but I have an entire new respect for Rhen. Which is saying something since he was the reason I threw A Heart So Fierce and Broken across the room when I finished it. My heart is full ❤
So, I loved Crave and put off reading Crush for awhile because I’d seen reviews about it having a horrible cliffhanger and that it just wasn’t as good as Crave…. once again, those reviews were wrong. I couldn’t put this book down! I read the entire 684 pages in one day, that’s how wrong they were…
Now, you know I’m not one to post spoilers, so this review will be short and to the point. Watching Grace try to figure out her magic, with Hudson in her head and Jaxon in her face, was frustrating and yet incredibly entertaining. It made me laugh, made me tear up, made me root for the bad guy. In the end, it was all worth it. I am 100% Team Hudson! And until I read this book, I hated on all of these team Hudson people. So I’ll go find some crow to eat now…
Come on Covet!!!! I need you right now! March 2nd can’t come fast enough!
This book… I have no words. It hooked me from the first page and next thing I knew, I was 88% done and the entire day was gone. I love everything about this story!
Leigh is a Fletching angel who is working towards completing her wings. She helps sinners turn their lives around and earns feathers to fill her wings. In a hurry to get her wings filled, she chooses a man with the highest score. She’s never failed a sinner before and she doesn’t plan on starting now.
Every time she sins, she loses a feather and Jarod makes her lose them at an alarming rate. But she doesn’t give up that easy. This sinner gets under her skin and he knows it. Jarod is one of those morally grey characters that you just can’t help but love. He’s fascinating! But will she be able to redeem him before she loses all of her current feathers?
Also, can I just say that I want an angel fire hamper? That would be amazing! Sign me up!
It has been a long time since I’ve thrown a book…. this book made that list. I devoured A Curse So Dark and Lonely and put off reading this one until just before AVSBAD came out because I had seen some not so great reviews for it. Well, those reviews were wrong! I fucking love this book! I adore Grey, and Lia Mara is a fabulous addition to the list of characters I already love from this world!
Although they managed to beat the odds in book 1, they are far from peace. Grey is in hiding, Rhen’s people are hearing rumors of a rightful heir and turning against him, and Harper is devastated by the thought of losing Grey. Then Grey gets dragged back in chains and steals the rest of the book. That’s all I’m going to say about that!
It may not have been based on Rhen and Harper, but this book is amazing. And I want to punch Rhen in his stupid face. Mmmk?
